Bug entering password

Either the password entry screen doesnt adapt well to a small screen, or there is an actual bug, but the green check mark doesnt appear to the right of the password query. Rotating phone doesnt help. If password is too short to allow the check mark, there is no indication of that.
There needs to be MUCH more onscreen help. Perhaps a beginner mode with lots of help, and advanced mode for no help.
