Notex – the best notes App Reviews

Dont be fooled by the casual icon, this is a serious HOT app! Ive been searching for a practical app for my every-day notes for years -- finally, this is it. The only current disadvantage is that it does not sync with any cloud source so immediate simultaneous changes on different devices cannot be synchronized. I also added to my wish list the ability to reset the default font. This is a winner! Ill give it FIVE stars if the changes get through.

Dates - would be nice to know when a list or note was created. Other than that, I like the layout and colors.

I like this app... It is very useful I just wish that you could give your notes a title that way when you lock the note you have a title so you can know which note Is which

On I pphone 6 this app did not work. At least not for me. Deleted

I really like the folders and colorful notes. I wish I could sort them automatically or even manually, but there does seem to be a way to control the order other than creating things in the order you want them to appear. The color palette could cover a better spectrum too, but its acceptable.

Like the colors. Need ability to embed vid Cant share info with other devices with top note

Great basic notes and photo app. Responsive developer. No ability to copy and paste, but can freely move notes, folders, pics. Great for 2$ to go unlimited, 2 folders for free.

I love the easy system of this app, love the all the colors and separate files, and you can copy & paste perfectly. The only things Id change is the typewriter style font. This app needs other varieties of fonts. Also, the folders need to have their own choice of colors as well. Otherwise, Im very pleased.

Either the password entry screen doesnt adapt well to a small screen, or there is an actual bug, but the green check mark doesnt appear to the right of the password query. Rotating phone doesnt help. If password is too short to allow the check mark, there is no indication of that. There needs to be MUCH more onscreen help. Perhaps a beginner mode with lots of help, and advanced mode for no help.

App support link leads to dead page? I wanted to ask if there is a way to choose fonts individually, as opposed to change one notes font = same for all notes in all folders. Also, more colors, and i will return to give 5 star! Thx, hope to hear back!

I use it all the time to organize and retrieve all the little bits of info that I would lose easily if I wrote them on scrap paper, as well as photos that I may or may not want to save. There are also "sort" and "search" and "reminder" features as well.

Does most everything you want and some more. Over all,happy with it, color arranging wonderful. Having to save it, NEEDS UPDATE FIX. You can lose everything implemented by not updating. Program is slow when you use it heavily like I do with a lot of information. I rated this high, because others compared are really really bad,that makes this a high rating.

It is exactly what I have been looking for. Also has an alarm reminder. Its perfect.

If I could figure out how to change font size of notes in folder it would be perfect will contact developer. Cant see the small print. I copied some stuff over. Cant seem to make larger.

I loved the fact that I could open a note and see the date I started it at the bottom, updates don't have that, please put it back for future updates.

I was so happy with this APP. Was confident to keep info and otther pass words locked!! NOW it is crashing and I am rushing to get off data that I NEED in a hurry! NOT GOOD Michael! You NEED to make sure there is a fix for the older version to AT LEAST give people time to get NOTES OFF. PLEASE get tht fix, SOME notes ARE NOW JUST a BLANK, notes disappearing!!

I originally was able to add photos to my app but suddenly I was supposed to go to settings privacy photos and add Notex. Now it isn’t there for me to add them. I can add the photo to notes and then paste them but it’s quite hard to do it that way. I am using iPhone 8+ New problem 10/24/19 I was always able to change and copy and paste but all of a sudden it’s not possible. Please help. I am now using iPhone 11

App needs to be updated to keep up with latest iOS. Cannot paste notes into Notex.

I’ve searched so long for a note taking app that has notes and privacy together....finally found this one! This one has so much more than that! Worth the money for me!!

If they support and get Icloud auto-sync then a easy five

Photo memory with a comment. Take notes and add photo to it. Choose the color of your notes. Easy to deal with. Maximum benefit of notes

Not user friendly at all. Backups are VERY inconvenient to get to thereby making it very difficult to backup app on multiple devices. Other than this, I think this is a very good app to have‼️ Also would be nice if developer would reply to support requests!

I have used other "stickers" memos in the past and find this to be the best. Thanks.

Fixed income here. Down to the penny every month! It's really hard to add on even the littlest things unfortunately. This app is the bomb but I really need to keep track of these thousands of websites I have... And no one does that!!! The folders are excellent, everything is excellent...I hope you'd consider adding on ability to attach webpages to folders without making it a pro add on. That's my request and should that happen next update if do 5 stars AND recommend this app to others🙃 I'm sincere. Thanks for being an attentive dev too!!!

Good product The thing that slows me down the most is when I select the return/enter-key two times, I lose the font I chose The app resets the font to the default font Then I either need to backspace to the end of the previous line to recover the chosen font, or keep selecting the font I was using from the font menu

This is a serious app yet it is handy and fun, easy to use. An update to include cloud syncing would get it 5 stars.

Outstanding app! Wish I had discovered it a few years ago. This app does everything a photo organizer should do and fixes almost everything Apple's Photos app neglected. It's simple and intuitive, yet powerful. There are only two things it lacks, but these are not critical--just nice-to-have usability features to improve its usefulness: (1) The "Move to Folder" view should automatically sort the list of folders within folders alphabetically, not by the order of their creation. Also the main view of folders in the app on the main screen should arrange the folders automatically by title, unless the user selects an option to manually rearrange them. This would help find folders quicker in a long list. (2) When viewing multiple items, the app should allow you to select all items in the view with just a single tap; instead you must select all the items you want individually, which can be time-consuming if you're working with a large number of items. All in all this is the standard for photo organization apps. All other apps can take lessons from this one. Get it and don't look back!

Simple and straightforward!! Perfect place for me to "brain dump" my to dos and organize all the thoughts swirling in my head. Once I have it in notes I don't have to keep thinking about it!!

I have been looking for an app to organize my notes and photos and this has come closest to the best I have found. My ONLY complaints is that if you have a photo as a note then it's blurry until you zoom into it and it's focused and cleared. But other than that I really enjoy it.

Out of the 6 apps I downloaded this is the best to record anything under the sun. You can add as many folders and record your diary, food intake, exercise log, etc. and take pictures and save. The $1.99 cost was worth it!

Easy to use and categorizes easily. I highly recommend this!

The great thing about this app is you can attach images and change the text font, size, color, and highlight whereas other apps can't. Note that in order to create more than 2 folders, you'll need to purchase the full version $1.99...still a decent app for keeping random notes :)

I've been looking for something like this for a long, long time. I love how you can see everything on the same screen. It's great how you can use folders or just a note. Couldn't ask for more! Definitely recommend.

I'm a little disorganized, and creating these simple folders allow me the ability to organize and find my fold with ease and information. Very easy to use. Just love it.
